Treatments
IMPLANT Dentistry
While regular brushing, flossing, and checkups allow many of us to maintain our natural smiles for a lifetime, sometimes our teeth just can’t keep up. If you’ve lost a tooth (or a few teeth) due to injury or disease, dental implants can rejuvenate both your smile and your oral health.
An implant is a synthetic tooth root in the shape of a post that is surgically placed into the jawbone. The “root” is usually made of titanium, which pairs well with human bone. A replacement tooth is then fixed to the post. The tooth can be either permanently attached or removable, but permanent teeth are more stable and feel more like natural teeth. The ideal candidate for implants is a non-smoker who has good oral health, including a sufficient amount of bone in the jaw, and healthy gums with no sign of gum disease.
If you are only missing one tooth, one implant plus one-replacement tooth is sufficient. However, if you are missing several teeth in a row, a few strategically placed implants can support a set of replacement teeth, or a “permanent bridge”. Similarly, a full bridge or full denture can be permanently fixed in your mouth with a strategic number of implants for those who have lost all of their teeth.
Bridges and dentures are not fixed to the bone, making them unstable and more difficult to eat or smile with. Implants on the other hand, are more stable and natural looking as well. Implants also do not compromise the health of your natural teeth because they do not directly rely on neighboring teeth for support. Bridges are only expected to last a maximum of seven to ten years, whereas implants can last a lifetime with proper care. Our implant services include Sinus Lift Augmentation, Autogenous Bone Grafting, Implant Site Development, Computer-Enhanced Treatment Planning, and Implant Maintenance.
Cosmetic Dentistry

Bonding Dentistry
Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed onto your tooth and “bonds” with your teeth, closely matching the appearance of natural teeth. This process can be used in replacement of amalgam fillings—the white color of tooth bonding is much less noticeable than the silver amalgam fillings. Bonding fillings can be used on both front and back teeth depending on the location and extent of tooth decay.
Less expensive than other cosmetic treatments, bonding can usually be completed in one visit to Dr. Bae’s office. However, bonding can stain and is easier to break than other cosmetic treatments such as porcelain veneers. It can generally can be easily patched or repaired in one visit.
DENTAL CROWN(CAPS)
A crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations.
Although there are several types of crowns, porcelain (tooth colored crown) are the most popular, because they resemble your natural teeth. They are highly durable and will last many years, but like most dental restorations, they may eventually need to be replaced. Porcelain crowns are made to match the shape, size, and color or your teeth giving you a natural, long-lasting beautiful smile.
Dental Veneers
Natural in appearance, veneers can easily correct your teeth’s imperfections, such as gaps and chips, to help you have a more confident smile.
Dr. Bae creates a unique model of your teeth and sends it to a dental technician who creates the veneers, which are essentially thin, custom-made shells made from tooth-colored materials (such as porcelain) designed to cover the front side of your teeth.
Before placing your new veneer, the doctor may need to conservatively prepare your tooth to achieve the desired aesthetic and natural result.
Digital X-Ray

Dr. Andrew Bae
Dr. Andrew Bae has earned his doctorate at Columbia Dental School and residency at Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital residency. Dr. Bae has over 20 years of implant placement experience and is Invisalign certified. Dr. Bae maintains the highest standards of care and believes in the importance of continuing education, and dedicates his efforts towards his patients.
